We’re Kostas and Michael, the founders of Qalzy. Like many of you, we wanted to take control of our health, one of us a new dad trying to lose weight, the other focused on building strength. We knew tracking food worked, but logging every bite was a hassle.
With backgrounds in AI and tech, we knew there had to be a better way. So we built a smarter scale that sees your food, weighs it, and logs it instantly.
No typing. No guessing.
The first time we used it, we knew we had something special. Qalzy changed how we track food, and we hope it does the same for you.
Frequently asked questions
Most calorie-tracking apps rely on manual entry, barcode scans, or AI that estimates portion size from photos alone. Qalzy combines precision weight sensors with AI-powered food recognition to identify what’s on your plate and measure it more precisely. It uses a database of 2.9 million foods to provide reliable calorie and macro data in seconds.
It's the fastest and most accurate way to count your calories.
Most tools do one part of the job well: they either weigh food but make you log everything manually, or they estimate from photos without knowing the exact weight. Qalzy combines visual food recognition, precise weighing, and automatic logging in one device, so you can track meals in a couple of seconds.
Most smart scales can tell you how much your food weighs, but not what it is. Qalzy uses a built-in AI camera to recognize food visually, estimate individual ingredients, and log calories and macros instantly. It can also learn your custom meals and recipes over time, making tracking faster and more personalized.
